Easter Sunday

Easter is a beautiful time. It's a beautiful time for many reasons: spring time, brightly colored Easter eggs, cadbury chocolate mini eggs [I'm hooked], but the main and central point is that our savior and redeemer, Jesus Christ, died and rose for us. In church today, a talk was given and the speaker included this in her talk. Jesus Christ lives and He atoned for us so that we can return and live with our Father in Heaven again.

Thoughts

The decision to serve a mission wasn't an easy one, that's for sure. There were a series of events that led up to me finally realizing that the Lord wants me to serve a mission & it came to me through the Holy Ghost. On Sunday, I went to a friend's farewell. In her talk, she referred to the Holy Ghost as her best friend. This got me thinking, and I find it to be true in my life too- the Holy Ghost really is my best friend right along with my savior, Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father. How am I so blessed to have the three best friends anyone can ask for? Well the truth is, we all are blessed to have their friendship & guidance in our lives. I know that it was through the Holy Ghost that I received an answer to my many prayers on whether or not I should serve a mission. I am so happy that I listened.

I Love to See the Temple

This song is one that I sang when I was little & in primary! I am going to the temple & it's on the 23rd of this month. I couldn't be more excited for this time in my life.
