Dear fam[ily], :]
It has been pretty hot here the past few weeks and Hermana Ski and I are so happy because we love the sunshine! I have realized just how much I love the sun. I absolutely love going outside each day and the sun being out, it just makes me so happy.
I just want to share a great learning experience I've had this past week and it's about applying the Atonement into our daily lives. The past week I was feeling very frustrated with myself. Each week, we make goals for ourselves and as a companionship. I had all of these goals that I wanted to accomplish and when weekly planning came around on Friday and we were evaluating how we did on my goals, I couldn't help but be disappointed. I have this vision of the missionary I want to be and I felt like I was failing. Hermana Skroski sat across the table from me and just listened to what I had to say. After I was through telling her how I felt, she said "You aren't applying the Atonement in your life." And I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe that I was doing that to myself. I was making myself so sad and discouraged because I wasn't applying the Atonement into my life. I wasn't giving myself any credit, but concentrating on all of the things I wasn't doing. She told me to go into the room and pray. I did that and I felt so much better. I couldn't believe in the midst of me trying to be this "extraordinary" missionary, I had forgot to apply the very thing I was teaching to people.. that through the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ, we can be made whole. Ever since that Friday afternoon, I have had a brighter outlook on each new day. I realize that goals are there to push us, but that if we don't conquer every, single little thing, it's going to be okay. Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins, our weaknesses, and our sorrow. I love Jesus Christ. He is my Savior. I have a greater understanding of the Atonement this week.
On Saturday was the General Relief Society Broadcast. It was soo good and just what I needed to hear. I am including the link to the talk by President Uchtdorf, please watch it! http://lds.org/general-conference/watch/2011/10&vid=1180453706001&cid=7?lang=eng. It talks about the things in life that we should "forget not." It is amazing.
The work is going forward! We meet new, interesting people everyday. We witness miracles everyday. I feel so blessed to be here right now serving the Lord! I know I'm right where I'm supposed to be. I love you all so much! Thank you for your constant love and support with EVERYTHING.

Con mucho amor,
Hermana Robinson
