Hola mi familia!
How is everything going in St. George!?! I hope everything is going good! Everything is going good here! :] I want to tell Chandler and Dad happy birthday!! It's coming up soon! What are you all planning on doing?! Well whatever it is, have fun!!!
I want to share with you a few fun moments of this past week! Funny moment of the week: We were talking to one of our neighbors and as we were talking to him a big, huge spider was slowly coming down on a web like right above his head, I was like "uh...a spider!" and he hurriedly moved away. It scared all of us so bad though because it was HUGE! He was sooo thankful to me. He told me later that I saved his life because if that spider would have been poisonous and I hadn't said anything, he could have been bitten and died. He told us that he believed in God because he had led him to us and then we were able to save his from being bit by the spider. I'm glad we were able to increase his faith. :]
Favorite moment of the week: We have an investigator with a baptismal date! She is amazing. Her name is Ana and one day we were walking to go find a referral we had been giving and she shouted out to us before we even said anything to her. She waved us down and gave us her phone number! She then started singing us "La Secreta Oracion" (her favorite song!). Turns out she knows one of the members in our branch and had went to the LDS church in Miami for a long time before she moved here. She even had a calling! Ana has breast and colon cancer, but she is so positive despite her trials. We asked her if she wanted a blessing from a Priesthood holder and she told us she would love one. We asked one of the members in our branch (such a strong member!) if he would be willing to give Ana a blessing and he told us yes. On Friday night, we all were going to meet up before we went up to Ana's apartment to give the blessing. He told us on the phone before he got there that he had a surprise for us and we had no idea what it could be. He pulls up in his van and he has the Relief Society president with him (she's amazing!) and the Elders, haha. He had brought the whole gang! It was soo cute. We all went up and they gave her the blessing and we all felt the spirit really strong! Afterwards, she sang us her favorite song. She is so sweet and we have such amazing branch members. We feel so blessed to be serving in this area!
Miracle moment of the week: Yesterday, we had an investigator and her two daughters show up to church! It was so cool to see them there. She participated a lot in the lessons and everything. While one of the members was in sacrament giving their talk, she turned to Hna. Skroski and asked her if just anyone can go up and give a talk? Hna. Skroski told her that once a month we have fast and testimony meeting where anyone can get up and bear their testimony. She told her that she would like to give a talk! And her daughters enjoyed young womens.
This work is soo rewarding. I love it! We also were able to go to the temple on Saturday! It was wonderful! As I was in the temple, I was thinking about how we are all God's children. We are all one, big family. Heavenly Father wants all of us to get back to Him. I want to do everything I can to help His children get back to Him. He loves all of us so much. He loves each and every one of YOU so much. *John 3:16-17.
I love all of you so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support and love!!
Con mucho amor,
Hermana Robinson
